Duane E. Mangum serves as the Vice-President of the Board of Directors. He is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Family Worship Center located in Waldorf, Maryland. He is the President & CEO of Blending To Make IT, LLC and a Certified SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) Facilitator; a Presidential Member of the American Association of Christians Counselors; a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Therapist; and Certified Professional Pastoral Therapist. He is a Silver Member of the Black Speakers Network.
Duane is a graduate of Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary with a Doctor of Philosophy (With High Distinction) in Christian Counseling. He is a retired Air Force and Navy veteran, where his service to the United States has spanned over thirty years. He is also a retired Federal Government Civil Servant with over twenty-five years of service.
Duane has authored four books: Blending To Make It: Ingredients For A Successful Blended Family; From The Incubator To The Kingdom: The Story of a Young Man’s Journey to fulfill his God-Given Purpose; Life After Divorce: The Rebuilding Process; and Straight Talk About The Blended Family: Keeping It 100 (co-authored with his wife, Michele).
Duane and his wife are the hosts of the radio show “Straight Talk About The Blended Family” on the WBGR Health and Wellness Network & FB Live. They also host a daily radio show,
“Championing Your Walk” on the Gospel Time Machine. Weekly, Duane and his wife serve in NHCOS’ Food Distribution Center.
