Michele Sims serves as Assistant Outreach Director for NHCOS’ Food Distribution Center. Michele recently retired from GEICO after 30 years of service with over 25 years of management experience. she was the Investment Accounting Manager at GEICO and is a Certified Public Accountant. She was also an active participant in corporate philanthropic events. She graduated with honors from Bowie State University with a degree in Business Administration.
Michele considers it an honor and a privilege to be used by God to serve others in their time of need. She assists with the daily operations of the distribution center. She trains and assigns volunteers to various tasks within the center. She also assists with New Hope Church of God’s Greeting Card Ministry.
When Michele isn’t serving the community, she enjoys her quality time with her husband, Kevin. Michele is the mother of three adult children and five grandchildren. She loves traveling, staying physically active, and trying new healthy recipes. Learning to play the piano is on her bucket list.
