Wanda Miller Perry serves as NHCOS’ Closet Pantry Coordinator. For eight years, she has overseen the collection and distribution of clothing to the Charles County residents. Wanda has always had a great passion for helping and serving those in need. She has volunteered weekly at various organizations and assisted with food preparation and distribution for homeless shelters.
Wanda studied Dietetic Assistance at Northern Virginia Community College and received a certification. She worked for fourteen years at Hadley Memorial Hospital as a Dietetic Assistant for patients. She later worked with women and children in the WIC program. After her time with Hadley Hospital, Wanda worked for PG County Public Schools as an Educational Assistant. She worked with preschoolers who were physically challenged.
Wanda is happily married to her husband, Henry, for 56 years. From their union, they have three children, five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
